I met Pete and Kerry at a wedding fair last year at Pride Park. They originally asked me about a wedding in November as they had to
change their wedding from February. I didn't know why until we had the consultation when they told me that Kerry was pregnant and the February date is only 6 weeks before the due date. They had decided that rather than change the date they would keep it the same and include "bump" in the celebrations.
When I walked into their flat I noticed a series of disks on the wall with game covers . My first thought was that this was a man who took his gaming to extremes but it turned out these were games he had worked on. He works for Codemasters and works on some of their racing games.
They came to the studio, extremely nervous, but they are a really nice couple and we soon started to get some great images. I soon realised that Kerry is a "blinker". We decided to go out and shoot and I offered them a choice of local urban or Wollaton Hall. They jumped at the latter as they are both "country lovers". When we got there we were a little disappointed as there were no Deer but at the end of the shoot we were joined by a small herd of deer much to their delight.
I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding next month and sharing some of the images on my blog.
