Last week I moved into my new studio. I say my, but actually I share the space with Neil Hoyle another photographer. It was Neil who made me the offer. We met about 2 months ago and although we have different styles and backgrounds we get on very well. We looked at a couple of spaces and the space at The Workshop was originally going to be a gallery. Adam and Alison who run The Workshop are a great couple. Adam designs LED lighting systems and Alison is a jewellery maker. The studio is huge and looks even bigger with furniture in it.
There is plenty of room for shooting, editing and meetings with clients and customers. The floor is gorgeous, real wood and Adam has applied 5 coats of gloss to the boards to give it a great shine and look. When you come to the studio ask one of us about the pulley and the rectangle of wood which goes the opposite way to the rest of the floor!
I will tell you a little more about Neil and the work we will be doing over the coming months.
